After gaining significant experience practising for established Chartered Surveying practices, Anthony Willison (AssocRICS, DipRSurv, PGDipLaw, BAHons) wanted to create an independent residential surveying firm, dedicated to providing a superior quality product and customer experience.

Anthony is an Associate Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and has over 20 years experience in the property and construction industry.

Targa Surveying Ltd was established, with the objective of allocating sufficient time and expertise to enable a personal, professional, and high quality service (yet maintaining a competitive price).

We never complete more than one survey a day - we believe it is vital not to rush such an important inspection of your future home. We do not cut corners.

We have a passion for surveying. We promise to provide clear descriptions and explanations of any issues. We will also enthusiastically discuss your concerns with the property, both before and after the survey, and help guide you through this important process.

RICS Regulation:

Targa Surveying is a RICS Regulated firm (Registration No. 867332) - please click here to see our RICS Regulation status on the RICS website.

The RICS regulates and promotes the surveying profession worldwide. Vital checks are regularly carried out by the RICS, such as to ensure the firm you use is adequately insured. Insurance provides important cover in the event of future issues (such as company bankruptcy). As a RICS regulated firm you can be assured that Targa Surveying maintains high standards at all times.

Although the origins of the RICS can be traced back to 1792 it really became established in London in 1868, and received the royal charter in 1881.

The RICS is the recognised ‘gold standard’ for professional regulation in the property sector.

RICS Accreditation:

Our home surveys are only carried out by highly experienced accredited members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

RIC’S membership requires a lengthy process of practical and academic training for the surveyor, with ongoing professional training requirements to ensure that surveyors are kept abreast of changes and developments in survey practice and construction techniques. All members of the RICS must abide by a code of core professional and ethical standards laid out to protect clients and consumers.

***All firms regulated by the RICS must comply with the RICS’ strict insurance requirements:

We carry £1,500,000 Professional Indemnity (and Public Liability) Insurance - significantly in excess of the minimum levels required by the RICS***
